Zero-Downtime Migration
Blue-green deployments and strangler fig patterns that keep your business running throughout the migration.
Database Migration
Oracle to PostgreSQL, MSSQL to Aurora, and other database migrations with full data integrity validation.
Framework Modernization
Upgrade from Java EE to Spring Boot, .NET Framework to .NET 8, and other outdated runtime environments.
Deployment Protocol
Zero-downtime migration from legacy systems to modern cloud-native architectures, frameworks, and databases.

What makes this hard
Nobody left is sure what the system actually does.
Behaviour that exists only in code
Undocumented rules accumulated over decades are load-bearing, and no current employee can enumerate them.
Big-bang cutover risk
A single switch with no incremental proof concentrates all the risk into one irreversible night.
Data that will not reconcile
Legacy stores carry decades of exceptions and corrections that a naive migration silently drops.
Parallel running cost
Running old and new together is necessary and expensive, so the overlap must be planned and time-boxed.
Common questions
Before you
get in touch.
How do you handle undocumented behaviour?
We characterize the existing system from its real inputs and outputs and build a test suite from observed behaviour, so the replacement can be proven against what actually happens.
Can we migrate incrementally?
Almost always, and we prefer it. Routing a slice of traffic to the new path and comparing results de-risks far more than any amount of pre-cutover testing.
What about the data?
Reconciliation is the hard part, not movement. We agree what must match, to what tolerance, before anything is moved.
Will there be downtime?
Usually minimal and planned. Where the architecture allows, we cut over with the old path still available to fall back to.
Do we have to replace everything?
No, and often you should not. Some legacy systems are stable and cheap to run; the case for replacement has to be made per system, not per estate.
